Finance Partner - Primary Care

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Partner to join our Primary Care business, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering with senior leaders to drive performance, growth and better health outcomes. This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with executive stakeholders, influence key business decisions and help deliver the financial strategy of a growing healthcare portfolio. Based in Melbourne, the role will require travel to Adelaide once or twice a month. What you'll be doing As the trusted finance partner to senior leaders across Primary Care, you will: Provide commercial insight and strategic financial advice to support business performance and decision-making Lead budgeting, forecasting, corporate planning and P&L management activities Develop business cases, financial models and investment analysis for new initiatives and growth opportunities Identify financial risks, opportunities and cost-saving initiatives Deliver meaningful reporting and performance insights to executive stakeholders Partner across Finance and the broader business to improve financial outcomes and support strategic priorities Present recommendations and influence decision-making at senior leadership level About you You'll bring strong commercial acumen, an ability to influence senior stakeholders and a passion for partnering with the business to create value. Ideally, you'll have: CA, CPA or equivalent postgraduate finance qualification Significant experience in finance business partnering, commercial finance or strategic financial planning Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities Experience developing business cases and presenting recommendations to senior leaders A proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across complex stakeholder groups Advanced Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights Experience within healthcare, health insurance or a similarly complex industry is highly regarded Why Medibank?
