Responsibilities
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server.
- Manage multi-node Always On Availability Groups across production and disaster-recovery sites.
- Manage Windows Server Failover Clustering, availability-group listeners, quorum, and failover or failback.
- Configure and support Log Shipping, mirroring, and transactional replication.
- Manage full, differential, and transaction-log backups, restorations, and database refreshes.
- Monitor infrastructure and database health, including CPU, memory, storage, growth, and transaction logs.
- Analyze execution plans and resolve SQL Server performance issues.
- Perform migrations, upgrades, security hardening, and encryption activities.
- Provide support in a 24×7 production environment.
Requirements
- Have 6–8 years of relevant experience.
