Co-op Description PCC Airfoils, LLC, headquartered in Greater Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the fast-paced, high-tech industry of investment casting. SUMMARY
The Operations Co-op supports daily business and manufacturing operations while gaining hands-on experience in a professional work environment. This role partners with cross-functional teams to improve processes, analyze data, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist with operational projects. The co-op will develop practical skills in problem-solving, project management, process optimization, and operational efficiency while contributing to department goals. Candidates should be detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operational and production activities.
- Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support decision-making.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Participate in process improvement and efficiency projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- This position provides valuable real-world experience and exposure to operational processes, preparing students for future careers in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or business management.
