About the Role

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead spray painters and helpers on site or in the workshop
- Plan and allocate daily painting activities to the team
- Ensure surfaces are properly prepared before painting, including cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
- Monitor paint mixing, color matching, and application processes to achieve required finish and quality
- Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and other departments regarding work schedules and priorities
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of spray painting equipment, tools, and materials
- Monitor paint and consumable material usage and report requirements for replenishment
- Maintain daily progress reports and workforce attendance records
- Identify and rectify painting defects such as runs, orange peel, blistering, and uneven finishes
- Ensure all work is completed within the approved timeline and budget
- Train and guide painters on proper painting techniques and quality requirements
