Job Summary
The Finishing Carpenter is responsible for executing high-quality carpentry works related to interior fit-out projects, ensuring precision, aesthetic finish, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out **finishing carpentry works** including:
- Doors, frames, skirting, architraves
- Cabinets, wardrobes, counters, and wooden partitions
- Wall paneling, ceilings, and decorative wood works
- Read and understand **shop drawings, layouts, and measurements** accurately.
- Install carpentry items as per **approved drawings and specifications**.
- Ensure **high-quality finishing**, alignment, and detailing.
- Coordinate with **site engineers and supervisors** for work instructions.
- Use carpentry tools and machines safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper **material handling** and minimize wastage.
- Rectify snags and defects identified during inspections.
- Follow **HSE rules** and maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Meet daily targets and adhere to project timelines.
- Support handover and final snag clearance.
