Speech Pathologist Grade 2

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team to fill a grade 2 role and to make a meaningful impact supporting patients, families and their carers

This position is a rotating Grade 2 role who will work under the guidance of the Grade 4 Acute/Ambulatory stream leaders.

In the course of a day, you may find yourself:

Undertaking a swallowing assessment

Working in the ICU or on our spinal multidisciplinary team

Teaching a staff member to undertake videofluoroscopy

Attending a team meeting

Participating in a quality activity

About you You will be someone who has excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to you work, and have a keen interest in leading others. You will have the ability to provide treatment for a wide variety of clinical conditions, and the desire to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
