Job Description

  • Develop and implement individualized and group speech and language therapy plans for children under the supervision of the Senior Speech and Language Therapist.
  • Provide direct therapy and communication training to help children develop effective communication skills, express their needs, and improve their participation in daily life.
  • Follow the department's policies, procedures, and evidence based best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct family centered evaluations and assessments of children's daily life activities to determine their needs.
  • Meet the unique needs of each family and provide direct and indirect training and coaching to mothers.
  • Develop individualized rehabilitation and therapy plans for children.
  • Stay up to date with current best practices and advancements in the field of Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Recommend and support appropriate adaptations to classroom materials and the learning environment to meet children's individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement each child's goals within the classroom environment.
  • Ensure teachers consistently incorporate each child's therapy goals into classroom activities.
  • Develop and promote communication opportunities in both classroom and community settings.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date child records, including assessments, goals, and progress notes.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize data.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, conduct research, and provide valuable insights to support decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or any related field.

Pay

  • SAR 7,500.00 SAR 11,250.00 per month
