Position: Business Development / Specification Manager – Flooring

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development / Specification Manager specializing in flooring solutions to drive product specifications and project sales across the UAE construction market.

The role focuses on building strong relationships with consultants, architects, and contractors, while ensuring successful project conversion and delivery.

Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors
  • Enhance product visibility through strategic networking and engagement

Product Specification

  • Secure product specifications for flooring projects across commercial and residential developments
  • Align product offerings with client requirements and project objectives

Market Analysis

  • Identify and track upcoming construction projects and developments
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to support sales strategy
  • Presentation of Solutions
  • Present tailored flooring solutions and technical proposals to clients
  • Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications

Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Sales Achievement

  • Achieve sales targets through effective pipeline management and project conversion
  • Develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Background in fit-out, contracting, or building materials sales is preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in flooring, fit-out, or building materials industry
  • Proven track record in specification sales and project-based selling

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong network within consultants, architects, and contractors in the UAE
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and market understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

Candidate Profile (Preferred)

  • Arabic-speaking candidates preferred
  • Background in engineering, architecture, or relevant sales experience in fit-out and contracting
