About the Role
Kidana is seeking a Writing & Editing Specialist to support the CEO's office by developing, writing, editing, and proofreading speeches, presentations, memos, reports, and articles.

- Develop, write, edit, and proofread speeches, presentations, memos, reports, articles, and other communication documents on behalf of the CEO and the CEO's office.
- Ensure all written materials adhere to the organization's brand guidelines, tone, and messaging principles.
- Revise and enhance the clarity, coherence, and effectiveness of written content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information for content creation.
- Verify facts, data, and references in written materials to ensure reliability.
- Manage multiple writing and editing projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in writing and editing for high level support to executives.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple writing and editing projects simultaneously.

Role Main Purpose
- Responsible for ensuring the clarity, accuracy, and professionalism of written materials produced by the CEO's office.
- Maintain the CEO's communication standards and enhance the effectiveness of written content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, edit, and proofread a wide range of written materials, including speeches, presentations, memos, reports, articles, and other communication documents on behalf of the CEO and the CEO's office.
- Ensure that all written materials adhere to the organization's brand guidelines, tone, and messaging principles.
- Revise and enhance the clarity, coherence, and effectiveness of written content, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and insights for content creation and refinement.
- Review and provide feedback on documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established guidelines.
- Verify facts, data, and references in written materials to ensure their reliability.
- Conduct thorough proofreading and editing to eliminate errors and improve readability.
- Maintain a consistent and high standard of quality for all written materials.
- Work closely with the CEO's office team, including executives, assistants, and other stakeholders, to gather information and coordinate content development and editing processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, public relations, and legal, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
- Manage multiple writing and editing projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in writing and editing for high level support to executives, preferably in a similar organization with similar operations.
