About the Role
ADNOC Drilling seeks a Technology Specialist to support the development, evaluation, deployment, and optimization of drilling and well-related technologies. The role involves technical support, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and collaboration with operations and external partners.

Responsibilities
- Support the identification, assessment, and selection of drilling and well construction technologies
- Participate in technology pilots, trials, and proof of concept activities in operational environments
- Assist in the deployment, testing, and optimization of approved technologies across rigs and projects
- Provide technical support to drilling and operations teams during technology implementation
- Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend corrective actions to ensure reliable performance
- Monitor technology performance and collect operational data to assess effectiveness
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving drilling efficiency, safety, reliability, and cost optimization
- Support the tracking and reporting of technology benefits and lessons learned
- Work with internal stakeholders including operations, drilling engineering, HSE, and digital teams
- Coordinate with OEMs, service companies, and technology vendors during testing and deployment
- Support technical evaluations, documentation, and vendor performance reviews
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related discipline)
- 12 years of relevant experience in drilling, well construction, or upstream technology roles
- Hands on experience supporting operational environments preferred
- Exposure to drilling technologies, digital tools, automation, or advanced analytics is an advantage
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Must be computer literate

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related discipline).
- 12 years of relevant experience in drilling, well construction, or upstream technology roles.
