- Examine, assess, and diagnose malocclusions and other orthodontic conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs and expectations
- Provide orthodontic treatments, including fixed braces, clear aligners, retainers, and other corrective appliances
- Monitor treatment progress and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results
- Interpret radiographs, photographs, and digital scans for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients and families on treatment options, oral hygiene, appliance care, and expected outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up to date patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and ethical guidelines
- Stay current with advances in orthodontic techniques, materials, and technology through continuing professional development
Requirements
- Specialist qualification in Orthodontics
- Experience in orthodontic treatment including fixed braces and clear aligners
- Ability to interpret radiographs, photographs, and digital scans
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and patient safety standards
