Overview

The Specialist – Marketing and Communication is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing and communication activities that strengthen brand presence, improve stakeholder engagement, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

The role combines content creation, digital communication, campaign support, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Brand Management & Positioning

  • Manage brand positioning and marketing collaterals, ensuring consistency across all QIG subsidiaries.
  • Define, implement, and maintain the brand tone of voice across all communication channels.
  • Monitor and address any misuse or misrepresentation of the brand.
  • Handle branding-related requests, purchases, and approvals in line with brand guidelines.

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans for each subsidiary, aligned with organizational strategy and business goals.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives and campaigns in line with industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Conduct market research and gather audience insights to support strategic decision-making.

Digital Presence & Social Media Management

  • Manage, optimize, and continuously improve the organization’s website to ensure usability and updated content.
  • Implement strategies to effectively showcase new products, services, and offerings on digital platforms.
  • Establish and manage a social media calendar and oversee content creation and publishing.
  • Publish announcements, tenders, and corporate updates on social media channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and aligned digital presence.

Content Development & Communications

  • Develop content for all marketing and communication materials across subsidiaries.
  • Handle copywriting and content creation for internal and external communications.
  • Develop content for tendering documents across all subsidiaries.
  • Create company profiles, presentations, and corporate marketing decks.
  • Provide visual and content support for publishing, campaigns, and promotional materials.

Public Relations, Publications & Investor Support

  • Coordinate public relations activities and media communications.
  • Monitor media coverage and relevant brand mentions.
  • Oversee the layout, design, and production of the Annual Report.
  • Ensure timely publishing of financial statements on relevant platforms.
  • Support Investor Relations with branding, communication, and disclosure-related materials.

Events, CSR & Corporate Engagement

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage corporate and subsidiary-level events and promotional activities.
  • Provide marketing and branding support for company events.
  • Lead CSR and sustainability initiatives aligned with corporate values and brand positioning.
  • Manage corporate gifts and branded merchandise, ensuring quality and consistency.

Budget, Vendors & Performance Tracking

  • Plan, manage, and control the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Manage vendors and oversee end-to-end production of printed and digital collaterals.
  • Track marketing performance, analyze results, and prepare reports for management review.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new products and services into marketing and communication materials.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously update content and strategies.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform any other relevant duties and responsibilities as directed by Superior(s).

Authorities

  • Access to ERP system as per the approved user profile for the position.
  • Access to physical and Electronic documents/manuals within the scope of responsibility.
  • Any other authorities delegated by the direct superior(s) or stipulated in any executive directive or in the approved DOA.
