Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of respiratory and pulmonary conditions including lung cancer, pleural diseases, COPD, asthma, ILD, pulmonary infections, airway stenosis, pulmonary nodules, and mediastinal lesions
- Perform advanced interventional pulmonary procedures including flexible and rigid bronchoscopy, EBUS, TBNA, BAL, endobronchial biopsy, cryobiopsy, airway stent placement, endobronchial valve procedures, pleural aspiration, chest tube insertion, and medical thoracoscopy/pleuroscopy
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with thoracic surgeons, oncologists, intensivists, radiologists, pathologists, and respiratory therapists to provide multidisciplinary care
- Participate in lung cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to complex case discussions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA/MOH regulations and hospital policies
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and Continuing Medical Education (CME)
- Mentor junior physicians and contribute to departmental education and clinical service development
Requirements
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification
- Board Certification, Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized Specialist qualification in Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine
- Fellowship or advanced training in Interventional Pulmonology is highly preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of post specialization experience as a Specialist Pulmonologist with experience in interventional procedures
- Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license for Dubai and/or MOH license for Sharjah
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonary procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills

Overview
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist Interventional Pulmonologist to join leading healthcare providers in Dubai and Sharjah, UAE.
- The successful candidate will provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic pulmonary care, with expertise in interventional bronchoscopy and minimally invasive airway procedures, while delivering evidence based, patient centered care.
Key Responsibilities
