Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform comprehensive medical assessments, physical examinations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and other diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnosis and effective patient management
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, endocrine conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, and infectious diseases
- Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and lifestyle counseling to patients
- Coordinate patient care with specialists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams when referrals or advanced interventions are required
- Manage inpatient and outpatient cases while ensuring continuity of care
- Respond to medical emergencies and participate in on call duties as required
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, infection control protocols, and international clinical guidelines
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities
- Mentor junior physicians and contribute to departmental educational programs when appropriate
Requirements
- MD, DNB, Arab Board, or equivalent qualification in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution
- Valid DoH Abu Dhabi License or DoH Eligibility Letter as a Specialist Internal Medicine physician
- Minimum 3 5 years of post specialization clinical experience in Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical knowledge in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of adult medical conditions
- Excellent communication, clinical decision making, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to evidence based medicine and patient centered care

Job Overview
