Your Role in Supporting Our Members
- As a Specialist II, Bank Operations , you will provide subject matter expertise and operational support for initiatives impacting member-facing processes within Member Experience and Community Engagement. You will participate in cross-functional projects, support compliance and operational process adoption, and help ensure frontline employees have the tools, knowledge, and support needed to deliver exceptional member service. This role plays an important part in coordinating communication, learning, testing, and operational readiness activities while advocating for the needs of member-facing staff. We are seeking a collaborative and operationally focused professional with strong communication, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- This is a Full-time, Permanent role and will report directly to the Manager, Member Experience & Community Engagement . While this position provides a remote work arrangement, you may be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.
How You'll Make an Impact
Participating in project teams to provide operational subject matter expertise for initiatives impacting member-facing processes
Coordinating communication and learning activities that support successful adoption of new and existing operational processes
Supporting ongoing adherence to compliance standards and operational requirements across member-facing teams
Advocating for the needs of frontline employees during cross-functional projects and business initiatives
Coordinating user acceptance testing activities and gathering feedback from operational stakeholders
Ensuring employees have access to relevant information, resources, and technical support required to deliver exceptional member service
Supporting business continuity activities and response plans during service interruptions or unexpected operational events
Maintaining close working relationships with consultants, specialists, and business partners to support staff capability and confidence
Creating automation solutions to improve operational processes, communications, and employee readiness activities
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Strong understanding and proven track record of improving business processes using Automation tools like Microsoft Power Automate
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related discipline
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in banking operations, operational readiness, training coordination, project support, or a related field
Experience supporting operational process improvements and change implementation initiatives
Strong understanding of compliance requirements, operational procedures, and frontline service environments
Experience participating in cross-functional projects and coordinating stakeholder activities
Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience supporting user acceptance testing, operational readiness, or employee support initiatives
Extra Skills That Set You Apart
- Experience within financial services, banking, or credit union operations
- Experience supporting business continuity planning or operational resilience initiatives
- Familiarity with learning management systems, process documentation, or change management practices
- Experience with data analytics tools like Power BI and SQL.

What You’ll Earn
This role offers a salary range of $69,700 to $90,200 per annum . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
