About the Role
Astra ProMed seeks a Specialist Family Medicine to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services in Abu Dhabi. The role involves diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive care, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary healthcare services for patients across all age groups
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct routine health assessments, annual physical examinations, and preventive screenings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Promote preventive healthcare through patient education, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and hyperlipidemia
- Interpret laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical tests
- Perform minor office based procedures as appropriate within the scope of practice
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education
- Adhere to DOH Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, and international clinical standards
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- MD/DNB/Master's Degree in Family Medicine or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification
- Valid DOH Abu Dhabi License or DOH Eligibility Letter
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS is an added advantage
- Minimum 3 5 years of post specialization clinical experience in Family Medicine preferred
- Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage
