About the Role

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill adult patients
- Lead the multidisciplinary ICU team in delivering high quality patient care
- Perform and supervise advanced critical care procedures, including airway management, mechanical ventilation, central venous catheterization, arterial line insertion, and other bedside procedures
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with specialists, surgeons, emergency physicians, and nursing teams to ensure coordinated patient management
- Participate in rapid response and code blue teams as required
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, international clinical guidelines, and patient safety standards
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to junior physicians and residents
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, CME activities, and research
Requirements
- MD/DNB/DM/CCT/Equivalent qualification in Critical Care Medicine or related specialty recognized by the relevant medical authority
- Fellowship or Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Valid medical license/eligibility to practice in the UAE (DOH, DHA, or MOH preferred) or eligibility to obtain one
