About the Role
Tamara Polyclinics is seeking a female Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology with a DOH license to provide comprehensive women's healthcare services, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of gynecological conditions and obstetric care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive gynecological consultations and examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic gynecological conditions
- Perform cervical cancer screening, Pap smears, and women's preventive health assessments
- Manage menstrual disorders, menopause related conditions, pelvic pain, and hormonal disorders
- Diagnose and manage infertility related conditions and provide appropriate referrals when required
- Provide family planning and contraceptive counseling
- Diagnose and manage sexually transmitted infections and reproductive health concerns
- Interpret laboratory, radiology, and ultrasound findings relevant to obstetrics and gynecology
- Perform outpatient gynecological procedures within the approved scope of practice
- Monitor and manage normal and high risk pregnancies within facility capabilities
- Conduct antenatal and postnatal care consultations
- Identify cases requiring referral to tertiary care facilities or hospital based services
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi)
- Completion of accredited residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Valid DOH License as Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology or Eligibility Letter
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3–5 years of post specialization clinical experience preferred
- Experience in antenatal care, gynecological procedures, and women's preventive health programs

Women's Health Services
- Provide routine wellness examinations and preventive healthcare services.
- Educate patients on pregnancy, fertility, menopause, and reproductive health.
- Promote early detection of gynecological cancers through screening programs.
- Support women's physical and emotional well being through counseling and education.
Patient Safety & Quality
- Adhere to DOH regulations, clinical guidelines, and facility policies.
- Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical audit activities.
- Report incidents and adverse events according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with family medicine physicians, nurses, radiologists, laboratory staff, and other specialists.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions when required.
- Coordinate referrals and follow up care.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain a valid DOH Specialist License in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME) and professional development activities.
- Comply with ethical, legal, and professional standards of medical practice.
- Participate in health awareness campaigns and community education initiatives.
Qualifications Required
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi).
- Completion of accredited residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Valid DOH License as Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology or Eligibility Letter.
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications Preferred
- Advanced certifications in women's health, fetal medicine, infertility, or minimally invasive gynecological procedures.
- Experience working in outpatient clinics and primary healthcare settings.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of post specialization clinical experience preferred.
- Experience in antenatal care, gynecological procedures, and women's preventive health programs.
