Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Good standing certificate from previous licensing authority (if applicable)

Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, evidence based, patient centered nursing care in accordance with DOH regulations, nursing standards, facility policies, and ethical guidelines.
- The RN assesses patients, plans and implements nursing interventions, administers medications, assists physicians, educates patients, and maintains accurate clinical documentation.
Clinical Care
- Conduct nursing assessments and collect patient health information.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and IV therapies as prescribed.
- Perform wound care and other nursing procedures within the RN scope of practice.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards.
Patient Safety & Quality
- Ensure patient safety and advocate for patient rights.
- Report incidents, adverse events, and safety concerns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Comply with facility accreditation and DOH standards.
Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Patient Education
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow up requirements.
- Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
Professional Practice
- Practice within the DOH Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses.
- Maintain valid DOH license and required certifications.
- Participate in continuing professional development (CPD/CME).
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
- Valid DOH Registered Nurse License or DOH Eligibility Letter.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Good standing certificate from previous licensing authority (if applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.
- Experience in primary healthcare, family medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, dental, psychiatry, or outpatient clinics.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Experience in outpatient or primary care settings is an advantage.
