As a Special Authorization Analyst (12 Month Term) , you will play an integral role in the authorization of prescription drugs for claimants using various modes of communication and online technology. You will remain current with respect to policy and procedure changes and liaise closely with Pharmacy Consultants, colleagues, and our client WCB Nova Scotia. The primary goal of the Special Authorization unit is to process requests for prescription drugs that require prior approval based on the claimant's compensability.
Work Schedule 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday Core Hours 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Atlantic)
