Essential Duties
- Performs analysis of Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), missile warning, missile tracking, and missile defense, space system and subsystems
- Performs analysis of test capabilities
- Identifies test capability requirements
- Identifies test capability shortfalls
- Develops test methodologies and tools
- Recommends approaches to operational test and integrated developmental / operational test activities
- Provides inputs to Space Force Test Delta in support of planning requirements and OT&E activities
- Collects and analyzes data to assist in the evaluation of system readiness / effectiveness / suitability / progress, and make recommendations to the test director
- Reviews, analyzes, and reports to test director status of Systems Program Office, and developmental contractor’s space systems documentation
- Assists in determining the capability of the system to withstand natural and man-made threat environments, and quantify the degree of impairment
- Assists in preparing test documentation for inclusion in test and evaluation reports
- Assists in the preparation of briefings or slides as part of the report coordination process
- Assists in the preparation of lessons learned reports
- Participates in Integrated Test Teams
Minimum Requirements
- Background in developmental testing experience and has experience with development, testing and operations of, Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), missile warning, missile tracking, and missile defense. Preferably has experience with proliferated low Earth orbit (pLEO) constellation support, and Position Navigation and Timing
- Must possess a bachelor's of science degree in a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) field
- Background in operational testing highly desired
- Background in space systems, missile warning, and satellite communications
