Position Summary

Spa Therapist responsible for massage services, body treatments, guest comfort and safety, spa service promotion, and treatment room maintenance.

The position is categorized under spa and is non-management.

Schedule

  • The schedule is full time.

Workplace

  • The role is located on Abdullah AlSahmi Street in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • The position is not remote and requires work in spa treatment and guest service areas.

Spa Services

  • Provide massage services using props and products.
  • Provide body treatments using body scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
  • Assess guest needs and ask about contraindications such as allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy before beginning services.
  • Keep current with techniques and modalities related to the service area.

Guest Experience and Sales

  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange the workstation, treatment room, and drapes.
  • Check with guests throughout services to promote comfort, safety, and security.
  • Promote and sell spa and salon services, including related retail offerings.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, and communicate clearly and professionally.

Cleaning and Operations

  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and maintain cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room throughout the shift.
  • Dispose of trash and dirty linens and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor and follow the daily time schedule.
  • Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott procedures, including stopping a service and informing a supervisor or manager when appropriate.

Safety and Conduct

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Develop positive working relationships and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and use fine motor skills to manipulate objects during services.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications

  • A state or regional massage license is required.
  • A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is listed as a preferred qualification.
  • At least one year of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
  • No supervisory experience is listed.
