Spa Therapist

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide massages using appropriate props and products.
• Provide scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy, and other body treatments.
• Keep current with techniques and modalities related to the role.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
• Prepare and maintain workstations, treatment rooms, drapes, supplies, and equipment.
• Promote spa, salon, and related retail services.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and dispose of trash and soiled linens.
• Follow treatment schedules and procedures for handling inappropriate guest behavior.
• Report accidents and unsafe conditions and complete safety training.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and maintain positive working relationships.

Required Qualifications

• Hold a current state or regional massage license.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Be able to perform extended standing, sitting, and walking and use fine motor coordination.
• Be able to handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required for this non-management position.

Schedule

• The position is full time.

Workplace

• The role is based at the spa in Doha, Qatar and is not remote.
