Spa Therapist

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized spa experiences in line with the luxury service standards of Raffles & Fairmont Doha.
• Perform massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps, and wellness therapies according to established protocols.
• Conduct guest consultations to identify individual needs, preferences, and contraindications.
• Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and satisfaction throughout treatments.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and spa areas to high cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Prepare treatment rooms with supplies, amenities, and linens before appointments.
• Promote spa treatments, wellness programs, and retail products through recommendations and upselling.
• Maintain knowledge of spa products, services, and current wellness trends.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and spa operating procedures.
• Monitor inventory and report maintenance or operational concerns promptly.
• Build positive guest relationships to encourage repeat business and guest loyalty.
• Collaborate with the spa team and other departments for seamless guest experiences.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in spa therapy, massage therapy, beauty therapy, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of various massage and beauty techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
