Role Overview

  • We are looking for an experienced South Indian Chef to join a private mansion in Dubai.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, presentation, and service.
  • The role requires a professional who can cater to the preferences of family members and guests, manage kitchen operations efficiently, and maintain complete confidentiality at all times.

Culinary Operations

  • Prepare a wide range of authentic South Indian dishes, including specialties from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
  • Create daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack menus based on family preferences.
  • Prepare both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes to exceptional standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all meals.
  • Develop healthy, nutritious, and customized meal plans when required.

Menu Planning & Procurement

  • Plan weekly and monthly menus in consultation with the House Manager and family members.
  • Monitor inventory levels and prepare purchase requisitions.
  • Ensure availability of fresh ingredients and specialty South Indian products.
  • Minimize food wastage through effective planning and stock management.

Hygiene & Food Safety

  • Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Follow UAE food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of food products.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition and report maintenance requirements.

Guest Hospitality

  • Prepare meals for family members, guests, and special occasions.
  • Support private dinners, celebrations, and VIP events hosted at the residence.
  • Accommodate special dietary requirements, allergies, and nutritional preferences.

Confidentiality & Professional Conduct

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding family affairs, guests, and household operations.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and respect at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other household staff to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a South Indian Chef.
  • Previous experience in private residences, luxury villas, VIP households, luxury hotels, or fine dining establishments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.
  • Experience preparing healthy and customized meals.
  • Knowledge of international cuisines will be an added advantage.
  • Basic English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.

  • Exceptional culinary skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
