Role Overview
The Solutions Engineer supports Account Executives and Account Managers during the FMX sales process and helps identify solutions that add product value.
The role serves as a liaison between the product team and other company functions to improve interdepartmental communication.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services.
- Support technical demos involving unique workflows, third-party integrations, and new challenges.
- Partner with sales executives on enterprise deal presentations.
- Participate in onsite enterprise demonstrations with 10-20% travel.
- Use technology demonstrations to identify additional prospect and customer problems.
- Contribute to weekly and quarterly sales and customer success meetings.
- Build trusted prospect relationships and understand business needs driving product changes.
- Attend development standups and quarterly strategy sessions.
- Collect competitive intelligence and communicate prospect trends to executive and product teams.
- Document client and prospect needs for future product enhancements.
Experience and Qualities
- At least three years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar professional role.
