The Solutions Architect -AIQU, will play a central role in shaping the technical direction of our growth.
This role is responsible for turning client challenges into winning proposals and designing impactful, scalable solutions that influence enterprise technology decisions.
You will work across the full pre‑sales and early delivery lifecycle — from leading technical discovery sessions and designing architectures to validating delivery feasibility and ensuring a smooth handoff to project teams.
You will serve as the technical authority that establishes the organization’s credibility with enterprise IT buyers and helps shape a practice from the ground up.
Solution Design & Technical Pre-Sales
- Lead technical discovery sessions with client IT teams — uncovering infrastructure, security posture, data architecture, and transformation priorities
- Design end-to-end technology solutions across cloud, managed services, cybersecurity, and digital transformation
- Translate complex technical architectures into clear, compelling proposals and presentations for both technical and business audiences
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs with technically accurate, commercially viable solutions
- Build detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs), effort estimates, and solution sizing for proposals
Architecture & Standards
- Define and own organization’s reference architectures for each service pillar (cloud, security, managed services, digital transformation)
- Ensure all proposed solutions comply with UAE and Saudi regulatory requirements (NCA, NESA, SAMA, CBUAE)
- Evaluate and qualify new technology partners and products for inclusion in the solutions portfolio
- Stay current on hyperscaler roadmaps (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise platform updates (ServiceNow, SAP)
Delivery Enablement
- Act as the technical bridge between pre-sales and delivery — ensuring what is sold can be delivered as specified
- Support project teams during critical early delivery phases and architecture reviews
- Build repeatable solution templates, runbooks, and delivery accelerators to scale the practice
- Contribute to building the technical capability of junior team members over time
Partner & Ecosystem Engagement
- Maintain and develop technical relationships with Microsoft, AWS, SAP, Salesforce and other strategic partners
- Pursue and maintain relevant partner certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Expert)
- Leverage partner technical resources, funding programs, and co-delivery capabilities in client engagements
Qualifications & Experience
- 12+ years in a Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant role within an IT Services or systems integrator environment
- Hands-on architecture experience across at least two of: public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), cybersecurity, managed IT services, or ERP/enterprise platforms
- Track record of designing and winning complex IT deals in the GCC market
- Experience working with enterprise clients in UAE and/or Saudi Arabia
- Active certifications in at least one hyperscaler: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Expert, or equivalent
Technical Depth
- Cloud architecture: IaaS, PaaS, hybrid cloud, cloud migration methodologies
- Cybersecurity: SIEM, endpoint protection, identity management, SOC design, NCA/NESA frameworks
- Managed services: ITIL-aligned service design, NOC/helpdesk architecture, SLA modelling
- Networking & infrastructure: SD-WAN, data centre, virtualisation (VMware/Nutanix)
- Enterprise platforms: at least working knowledge of SAP, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Dynamics
Skills & Attributes
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage
- Exceptional written communication — can produce board-level architecture documents and detailed technical specs with equal clarity
- Strong commercial awareness — understands deal economics and how to design solutions that are profitable to deliver
- Collaborative by nature — equally effective working with sales, delivery, and client teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity — this is a build environment, and you will often be creating the process, not following it
