- Engage business stakeholders, product teams, and operations teams to understand functional and non functional requirements.
- Analyze business processes, customer journeys, and pain points.
- Convert business needs into architecture ready solution requirements.
- Design end to end solutions across digital channels and telecom ecosystems.
- Produce high level and detailed solution designs covering mobile apps, web portals, CRM integration, API/middleware integration, identity & access management, billing/charging/BSS/OSS integration, notifications/messaging/chatbot channels.
- Ensure scalability, security, resilience, and performance by design.
- Define data flows, integrations, interfaces, and dependencies.
- Produce architecture deliverables including Solution Design Documents (SDD), HLD/LLD, integration diagrams, sequence diagrams, API specifications, and deployment views.
- Present solutions to Architecture Review Boards and governance forums.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and target state.
- Work closely with development teams, vendors, QA, DevOps, and project managers during implementation.
- Support SIT/UAT/go live readiness and ensure delivered solutions match approved architecture.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Solution Architecture / Technical Architecture roles
- Strong experience within telecommunications operators or telecom technology vendors
- Proven experience delivering digital channel platforms such as mobile apps, customer self service portals, eCommerce journeys, agent/dealer apps, or omnichannel engagement platforms
- Strong experience integrating with telecom systems: CRM, Billing, Charging/OCS, Order Management, Middleware/API Gateway, and Identity systems
- API led architecture / microservices / middleware integration
- REST / SOAP / event driven integration
- Cloud and hybrid architecture understanding
- Security architecture basics (OAuth2, SSO, IAM)
- SQL / data model understanding
- Performance and scalability design
- DevOps / CI CD awareness
- Agile delivery model experience

Position Overview
- Position Title: Solution Architect – Telecom Digital Channels
- Location: Dubai
- Department: Group IT / Enterprise Architecture / Digital IT
- Reports To: Director of Enterprise Architecture & Business Architecture
Role Purpose
- We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in the telecommunications industry and proven success delivering digital channel solutions.
- The role will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high quality solution designs across customer facing digital platforms such as mobile apps, web portals, self care, eCommerce, CRM, and omnichannel journeys.
- The ideal candidate must be capable of leading the solution lifecycle from requirements understanding, architecture design, documentation, stakeholder alignment, vendor coordination, through delivery governance.
Key Responsibilities
