Purpose and Scope
Support execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and technical coordination of Solar PV systems at project sites.
Ensure site activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, applicable standards, Saudi regulations, SEC requirements, and project requirements.
Site Engineering Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits and surveys and collect technical information.
- Review PV layouts, single-line diagrams, electrical drawings, cable routes, datasheets, and technical documents.
- Coordinate daily activities with supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
- Supervise Solar PV installation and monitor compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Monitor installation of modules, mounting structures, inverters, cables, panels, monitoring systems, and related equipment.
- Inspect installations, identify workmanship issues, and coordinate corrective action.
- Report technical issues, site constraints, and deviations to project management.
- Coordinate site conditions and technical modifications with the design team.
- Verify delivered materials against approved submittals and support inspection requests.
- Participate in electrical testing, functional testing, inverter commissioning, and performance verification.
- Prepare progress updates, site reports, installation records, inspection records, testing records, photographs, and redline drawings.
