About the Role
Rime Platform is looking for a Systems Quality Engineer (SRE) to ensure the stability, speed, and reliability of systems processing thousands of video streams and real-time sensor data.

Responsibilities
- Manage the software infrastructure to handle high throughput processing of real time data and video streams, ensuring 99.9% uptime
- Build and develop continuous deployment pipelines to automate rollout of updates
- Work on proactive monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) to detect network issues, camera stream disconnections, or performance bottlenecks
- Lead emergency incident response operations and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Optimize operational costs and load balancing regarding server consumption and processing resources
- Apply security best practices to protect customer data and ensure infrastructure compliance with local data governance policies
Requirements
- Mastery of container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Solid coding skills for writing efficient automation scripts (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Solid understanding of network protocols and experience handling video streaming workflows (e.g., RTSP, WebRTC) and IoT data streams
- Advanced experience with modern monitoring, alerting, and log analysis stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog)
- Solid grasp of cloud security protocols, data encryption, and access management (IAM)

Requirements
- Cloud & Containerization: Mastery of container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (K8s), along with deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong experience using tools such as Terraform or Ansible to manage infrastructure efficiently.
