Software QA Engineer

Objectives of this role

Responsibilities

• Experience driving cross-team technical discussions with an understanding of SDLC concepts
• Understanding of testing techniques (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automated), their strengths and weakness, and their ability to use them to the best effect
• Hands-on Strong Automation using Java/Selenium experience in UI
• Good knowledge/ working experience in implementing CI/CD (GitLab, Maven- Jenkins, SonarQube, SauceLabs), etc.
• Good experience in Version control/Source control management tools like Bitbucket, GitHub
• Hands-on experience in the creation of a Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Test Summary Report
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and Testing Techniques.
• Develop and executes maintainable automation tests in a quick span with high quality for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases

Required skills and qualifications

• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Superb computer skills, including database management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
