- Develop, document, and implement test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure product quality and alignment with business requirements
- Conduct thorough manual testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks in software products
- Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks
- Perform regression testing to ensure product updates do not introduce new issues
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar platforms, ensuring timely resolution
- Evaluate software performance under various conditions using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
- Work closely with development teams to understand system functionality and provide feedback to improve software design and user experience
- Set up and maintain test environments to simulate real world scenarios effectively
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for test plans, cases, and reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., Black Box, White Box, Functional, Non Functional)
- Hands on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
- Proficiency in test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for creating automated test scripts
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes
- Experience in testing web based applications, APIs, and mobile applications
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and how testing integrates into development workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

About The Role
- We are seeking a detail oriented and skilled Software Product Testing Engineer to join our team.
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies.
- You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
