We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer

DHP (Digital Hosting Platform) sits at the heart of CTO Platforms.

We are an on-premises, opinionated, controls-first hosting platform both internal and external that empowers teams across HSBC to run software at scale.

We build, maintain, and evolve the foundational systems, tools, and services that let product teams ship software efficiently, securely, and reliably.

You’ll be hands-on, thrive at the intersection of platform engineering and developer experience.

You’ll become the crucial link between infrastructure and development understanding pain points, designing elegant solutions, and shipping tools that make other engineers faster and happier.

In this role you’ll:

• Partner with Product Owners to deeply understand requirements and break them down into focused, deliverable items
• Design and build robust, scalable microservices with high observability and supportability, following DevOps and Agile principles
• Own your deliverables end-to-end, from design through deployment and hit agreed timelines
• Provide rapid, effective production support; perform root cause analysis on incidents and drive long-term fixes that stick
• Act as a trusted technical consultant for platform users, resolving queries and unblocking teams with speed and clarity
