Scope
Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of Blue Yonder's cloud-native Supply Chain Data Platform.
Work with senior engineers to build scalable microservices, implement features, resolve defects, and improve product quality.
Technical environment
- Core technologies include Python, NumPy, Gradle, Git, Hibernate, REST APIs, and OAuth.
- The architecture includes scalable, resilient, event-driven, secure, multi-tenant microservices.
- The cloud environment includes Microsoft Azure, ARM templates, AKS, HDInsight, Application Gateway, virtual networks, Event Hub, and Azure AD.
- Other technologies include Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server, GitHub Actions, and solver components.
- The source title also identifies SQL, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and Azure as role-related technologies.
What you will do
- Develop quality software, including effective test code, according to clean code principles and company standards.
- Participate in backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Translate business requirements into user stories and participate in individual story designs.
- Consider information security while coding and reviewing code.
- Triage issues, identify root causes, fix defects, and improve service reliability.
- Collaborate with operating teams, document features, and train teams on quarterly releases.
