Develop software using secure coding practices, user privacy principles, software development processes, and Cisco design thinking principles.
Collaborate with design, product management, development, and other teams to create customer-focused solutions.
The role focuses on Cisco ACI networking, automation, quality engineering, and software reliability.
Testing and Technical Delivery
- Develop and execute comprehensive tests for Cisco ACI fabric deployment, management, monitoring, and automation.
- Validate leaf/spine topology, APIC controllers, fabric initialization, and integrations with VMware vCenter, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
- Test REST API and CobraSDK automation workflows and improve test automation frameworks and infrastructure as code practices.
- Debug software issues, review code, coordinate delivery, and contribute to technical design, process improvement, and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 7 years, master's degree plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year of related experience.
- Solid knowledge of networking products and data center networking technologies, including VXLAN, MP-BGP EVPN, and L2/L3 connectivity.
- Experience with Python, REST APIs, test automation frameworks, and continuous integration processes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex network and software issues.
Preferred Qualification
- Familiarity with AI-powered infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code concepts applied to data center products.
