About the Role
Principal DevOps Engineer focused on vulnerability remediation within Infrastructure Engineering and Cloud Operations.
The role supports solution delivery platforms for web-based applications using current cloud technologies in a DevSecOps culture.
What You Will Do
- Build automation using CI/CD processes, automated testing, unit testing, code coverage and software development best practices.
- Contribute reusable automation scripts, libraries, services and tools to improve system and process efficiency.
- Partner with security teams and tools to review new industry security threats and associated technologies.
- Partner with application management teams to understand the impact of resolving vulnerabilities and execute remediation.
- Improve operational excellence by increasing efficiency and reducing risk, complexity, waste and cost.
What You Will Bring
- 8 or more years of experience with common web technologies, including C#, .NET, Java or another equivalent object-oriented language.
- 8 or more years of experience implementing cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, with understanding of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS models.
- Experience building high-performance, scalable and robust 24x7 environments or applications.
- Experience creating scripts or automation for cloud orchestration using Perl, PowerShell, Python, TCL/TK, Ruby or a similar language.
