Software Engineer: This role is part of the Engineering team within Cornerstone.

The team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power Cornerstone’s product platforms.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining reliable software applications across backend and frontend technologies.

You will work with C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, SQL, NoSQL, and AWS to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, Architecture, and other stakeholders to build customer-focused features, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve application performance, reliability, and quality.

In this role you will….

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using C# and .NET.
• Develop application UI using React and TypeScript.
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and scalable solution development.
• Integrate applications with internal and external services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access logic.
• Contribute to application performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Work with asynchronous processing and integration patterns.
• Deploy and support applications using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Participate in code reviews and follow engineering, security, and quality best practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality.
• Explore and contribute to integrating AI/Generative AI capabilities into applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, UX, Architects, and other Engineering teams.
• Learn and adopt new technologies and engineering practices.

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

• 1–3 years of hands-on software engineering experience building and supporting production systems.
• Hands-on experience with C# and .NET in backend and service-oriented architectures.
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases in production.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design principles.
• Good understanding of software development best practices.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
