Software Engineer

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support business applications and integrations.
• Develop and maintain solutions around Epicor Kinetic ERP , including customizations, BPMs, BAQs, APIs, integrations, and related technologies.
• Build and support web applications, APIs, services, automation, and internal tools.
• Integrate ERP with customers, suppliers, EDI partners, 3PLs, SaaS platforms, and other business systems.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data integrations.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, OAuth/OIDC, SSO, and other integration technologies.
• Automate business processes and eliminate unnecessary manual work.
• Troubleshoot problems that may cross applications, databases, infrastructure, networks, and third-party systems.
• Work directly with business users to turn loosely defined requirements into practical solutions.
• Own problems from investigation through implementation and production support.
• Participate in code reviews, source control, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Experiment with and evaluate new technologies when they can provide meaningful business value.
• Share knowledge and collaborate closely with the rest of the engineering and IT teams.

Experience developing within Epicor Kinetic is highly desirable.

Candidates with experience in areas such as Epicor BPMs, BAQs, Functions, REST APIs, customizations, Application Studio, SQL, integrations, or the Epicor data model will have a significant advantage.

with other enterprise ERP platforms is also valuable, particularly when combined with strong software development and integration skills.

We are a small team supporting a very large organization , which means our engineers tend to wear a lot of hats.

One day you may be working inside Epicor.

The next you may be debugging an API integration, writing SQL, building a web application, investigating an EDI issue, automating a business process, working with authentication, or figuring out why two systems disagree about the same transaction.

Rarely do we solve the exact same problem twice.

We do not expect you to already know everything we use.

We do expect you to be willing and able to figure things out.

• Professional software development experience or equivalent demonstrated ability.
• Strong understanding of programming, databases, APIs, and application architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand business processes as well as technical requirements.
• Ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Epicor Kinetic development experience is a significant plus.
• Experience with ERP, manufacturing, distribution, EDI, or enterprise integrations is highly desirable.

Curiosity, ownership, and the desire to figure things out are much harder to teach.
