Education and Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required, or equivalent training and experience.
• The role requires two to three years of Software Engineer experience with increasing responsibilities.
• At least two years of JavaScript or TypeScript web application experience, including React and Node.js, is required.
• At least one year of relational database experience and practical Docker, source control, and CI/CD experience are required.
• Microservices and Kubernetes exposure is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Required capabilities include React, Node.js, REST and event-driven integrations, automated testing, SQL, MySQL administration, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux, and secure development.
• Additional languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, or shell scripting are advantageous.
• Reporting experience is required, while JReports or comparable enterprise reporting platforms are preferred.
• The role involves observability, high availability, disaster recovery, real-time transaction processing, and Agile delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications, microservices, utility programs, and React and Node.js components.
• Optimize MySQL schemas, queries, and data access layers for high-volume transaction processing.
• Maintain reports, Docker containers, Kubernetes configurations, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and quality gates.
• Translate lottery and customer requirements into technical designs and participate in reviews, testing, analysis, and certification.
• Deploy and configure software, troubleshoot incidents and defects, participate in escalation coverage, and maintain technical documentation.
