Join NatWest Digital X as a Software Engineer at associate vice president level.
Engineer simple, secure digital solutions within a feature team.
The role is based in India and normal working days must be carried out in India.
What you will do
- Engineer and maintain customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions.
- Produce complex and critical software rapidly and to a high quality standard.
- Work in permanent teams responsible for the full software lifecycle.
- Collaborate to optimize software engineering capability.
- Design, produce, test, and implement working code.
- Work from requirements analysis and design through coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.
Required skills and experience
- Background in software engineering, software design, software architecture, and customer-focused technical delivery.
- Experience with development and testing tools, bug tracking tools, and wikis.
- Eight or more years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise application development in complex environments.
- Experience designing scalable, resilient, and high-performance applications.
