Software Engineer - Intermediate

Role: Core Java Backend Developer

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Core Development: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software design and object-oriented programming, with a focus on core Java . (Familiarity with secondary scripting languages like Python or JavaScript is a plus).

Build Tools: 2+ years of experience with software build management and dependency automation tools like Maven or Gradle .

Quality & Performance: 5+ years of experience implementing unit/integration testing, code coverage, performance tuning, and quality engineering techniques (e.g., JUnit, profiling, debugging).

Cloud Infrastructure: 5+ years of experience with cloud platform technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Web Integration: Core understanding of frontend web integration technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively interface backend REST APIs with web clients.

Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision

UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, Angular and Bootstrap)

Experience with backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA and Microservices

Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle.

Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP)

Relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL)

Atlassian tooling (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, and Github)

Developing with modern JDK (v1.7+)

Automated Testing: JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI
