Software Engineer III - Product Development

Requirements

• MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• · Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• · Typically, 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, including experience with cloud-based solutions (Azure/AWS) and legacy systems (.NET/C#/SQL).
• · Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, web services, and modern application frameworks.
• · Scrum certification (CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), CSP, or PMI-ACP) preferred.
• · Experience with Agile methodologies, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems. REST/SOAP web services, Java, C#/C++, .NET, or Apex.
• · Excellent communication/collaboration skills.
• · Experience leading portions of development efforts, providing technical guidance, or mentoring junior developers.
• · Familiarity with AI/ML-powered application concepts (LLM integration, RAG, prompt design, embeddings and vector search, output guardrails, and evaluation) through coursework, side projects, or professional experience; exposure to the Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a plus.
• · Strong experience with modern React-based frameworks (Next.js) and Typescript, Node.js, and working knowledge of an ORM and relational databases.
• · Familiarity with architectural patterns and best practices in modern software engineering.
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• · Ability to report to work in person and to attend work-related functions/activities.
• · Ability to work at a desk and use a computer for extended periods.
• · Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 10 pounds occasionally.
• · Ability to occasionally travel as required.
• · Ability to type and utilize various software programs efficiently and operate general office equipment.
• · Ability to work in an office setting with moderate noise levels.
• · Additional physical demands include, but may not be limited to, frequent talking or hearing, occasional push/pull, stoop/kneel, bend/twist, and reach to retrieve or move items in a typical office environment.
• · Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.

• · This role has been designated as Hybrid, which gives employees the opportunity to work from home on Mondays and Fridays and working in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
