Role overview

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic initiatives that automate and manage Tower’s global production environment.
• Build products and automation solutions across web applications, stream processing, microservices, and databases.
• Collaborate with technical teams on trading infrastructure and operational challenges.
• Participate in the developer on-call rotation to support production reliability.
• Develop documentation, define specifications, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field and at least three years of software engineering experience.
• Have strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Rust; Golang and/or Python experience is also listed.
• Have experience with Linux, shell scripting, databases, web technologies, full-stack development, bare metal, automation, and DevOps.
• Have experience with distributed systems, Kafka, data pipelines, microservices, infrastructure-as-code, and large-scale 24/7 production environments.
• Demonstrate communication, stakeholder management, interpersonal skills, ownership, autonomy, and a product-focused mindset.
• Be able to relocate and work from the office at least four days per week.
