Responsibilities

• Work on the team's core Python data science platform supporting global trading research.
• Build ETL pipelines using internal and external data sources to support business analytics.
• Research solutions for increasingly sophisticated visualizations.
• Develop and improve frameworks that leverage cloud and on-premises compute and storage clusters.
• Develop, test, and document in-house tools to improve quality, reliability, and supportability.
• Automate support workflows and design tools to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science from a top-tier college or university.
• Three to five years of relevant experience designing and improving information systems.
• Proficiency with Python and knowledge of NumPy, Pandas or Polars, Cython, and other Python data science frameworks.
• Thorough understanding of Linux fundamentals and the C++ compiling, linking, and loading process.
• Strong problem-solving abilities for high-availability, high-throughput, and low-latency solutions.

Additional Advantage

• Experience with source control management, CI/CD pipelines, ELK, and other observability frameworks is an added advantage.
