The role supports Google Pay and Wallet products that serve global business payment journeys.
Google software engineers work on technologies operating at large scale and may contribute across areas such as distributed computing, system design, security, AI, UI, and mobile.
The role offers opportunities to work on specific projects and move across teams and projects as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve solutions for global business payment journeys.
- Perform implementation, unit testing, and integration work across the development lifecycle.
- Align work with the long-term Google Pay goal and help the team achieve it.
- Collaborate with Platforms, Product, Trust, Safety, Risk, Marketing, Design, and Content teams across the United States and India.
- Own end-to-end service lifecycle activities including productionization, monitoring, and alerting.
- Participate in on-call support to resolve bugs and address user feedback.
