Role overview
Braze is hiring a Software Engineer for its SMS team.
The team builds and scales SMS and RCS channels and owns their product lifecycle from composition and sending through responses and analytics.
The team also owns supporting Chat messaging services, including click tracking and link shortening.
What you'll do
- Ship high-value full-stack features quickly.
- Drive initiatives from concept to delivery.
- Own key technical areas and solve open-ended problems.
- Help maintain platform dependability as traffic expands.
- Collaborate across teams and functions and communicate clearly with peers and leadership.
Who you are
- Have 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Have professional experience building distributed systems at scale.
- Understand distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
- Are a self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Have prior experience working in a team environment.
