Software Engineer II (4749)

• 3–5 years of software development experience building and supporting software applications in a professional environment.
• Experienced with frontend development with React and building backend microservices and APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly, with a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software engineering best practices.
• Working knowledge of SOLID principles , software architecture concepts, clean code practices, and maintainable application design.
• Experience developing and consuming APIs and an understanding of API-first development approaches .
• Familiarity with modern backend technologies and patterns such as Go, gRPC, REST APIs or equivalent technologies. Direct experience with all technologies is not required.
• Familiarity with modern software architecture patterns including:
• Microservices
• Loosely coupled systems
• Event-driven architectures

• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and frameworks is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to code quality, testing, continuous improvement, and collaborative software development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
