Role Overview
Inspira Financial is seeking a Software Engineer I to produce scalable software solutions alongside and under the mentorship of experienced developer leaders.
The role contributes to the full software development life cycle from conception through deployment.
The position is intended for recent graduates or professionals early in their development careers.
Workplace
- Remote roles may be based in listed U.S. states, subject to change and without relocation support.
- Employees within a 90-minute radius of the Oak Brook headquarters must follow in-office guidelines of at least four days per month, with specified hours.
Responsibilities
- Work with software engineering teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
- Develop frontend web solutions from designs, create web interactions, and implement responsive mobile designs.
- Develop backend databases, applications, servers, RESTful services, and APIs.
- Test, troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and document software.
- Maintain knowledge of development tools and programming techniques through ongoing learning.
- Use version control, CI/CD practices, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code.
