• Teamwork: Proven ability to work in a dynamic product team environment with product owners, scrum masters, engineers, and fellow assurance engineers. Be strong in fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Strong Automation skills – You need to be extremely proficient in developing Automated tests using Open-Source tools like Selenium, Playwright, etc. and you should be able to code in languages such as Java, C#, Python, etc.
• Problem-solving - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to systematically analyze complex software systems, ask the right questions, identify root causes of issues, and trace defects across workflow steps, integrations, business rules, and data dependencies.
• Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability - Ability to adapt to changing priorities, project requirements, and technologies, while maintaining a high level of quality and productivity.
• Attention to Detail - Demonstrate a meticulous approach to testing and problem-solving, with a keen eye for identifying even the smallest defects and inconsistencies in software products.
• Documentation - Proficient in creating clear and concise documentation, including test plans, test cases, workflow scenarios, acceptance criteria, and defect reports, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
• Business Process Orientation - Ability to understand business workflows, user journeys, approvals, handoffs, and exception paths, and translate them into effective test coverage.
• Collaboration - Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to achieve common goals.
• Continuous Improvement - Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software quality assurance.
