Role Overview
DTCC's Information Technology group delivers secure and reliable technology solutions for global capital markets.
The Development family creates, designs, deploys, and supports applications, programs, and software solutions.
The Software Engineering role plans technical requirements, designs and develops software, and tests systems and applications.
Workplace
- DTCC offers a flexible hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote each week.
- Onsite days include Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day determined by the team or employee.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop applications that comply with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Construct unit test cases and follow design and code standards.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Monitor and mitigate risk through risk and control processes, escalating appropriately.
- Design components or individual programs and provide production support as needed.
- Review technical designs and specifications with subject matter experts.
- Apply project-appropriate software development methodologies.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and improved ways of working.
